At the lighthouse, where Michelle has taken Danny to recover from his accident, mother and son get into a heated argument -- and Carmen lets it slip to Michelle that Danny and Drew slept together.
"Michelle is devastated," Joie Lenz explains. "It's like, 'Oh my god. I can't believe you did that.'"
Danny tries to explain himself, but Michelle won't hear any of it, and storms off. She ends up at Millenium, where "she flips out at Drew," Lenz says. She then proceeds to drown her sorrows.
"It was a fun shoot," Lenz says, "because Michelle is a funny drunk. I don't know if Michelle really sees Drew as a threat, just more of a problem. It's weird, because Drew is the only person she can talk to, and yet she can't. So it is a little confusing for her."
Danny shows up and takes a bombed Michelle to the Bauers, where they have it out again. Michelle tries to get Danny to leave, and when he doesn't, she kisses him and tells him to have sex with her the way he did with Drew.
Danny decides to sober Michelle up by making her take a cold shower, but something else happens that gives her a wake-up call, so to speak: Danny and Michelle receive an urgent phone call from the Santos house.
