"Oh, Behave!"
It's a Week of Shagadelic Shockers for Guiding Light's Danny and Michelle -- 7/6/99

Oh, Behave! Danny & Michelle Make Love Into the Woods ... Guiding Light's Danny married Michelle so he wouldn't have to kill her for causing the death of his brother, Mick (it was self-defense.) The couple wed again in a large ceremony to convince their families that the union was legit. While Danny had genuine feelings for Michelle, they weren't mutual back then. Now they are. Michelle and Danny desperately want to be together, but Rick had Michelle committed to the psych ward to keep her away from her mobster husband. Just as Michelle is about to released, Carmen tries to make peace. Michelle doesn't buy it and lashes out at her mother-in-law. Unfortunately, Dr. Bradford witnesses the exchange and changes her mind about releasing Michelle.

"Michelle's therapist orders her to remain for another 14 days, which is completely unacceptable to Danny," explains Paul Anthony Stewart (Danny). "He storms off, saying, 'Over my dead body.'"

Disguised as a doctor, Danny lurks in the hospital halls waiting to spring his true love. "Conveniently, a code blue is called," Stewart laughs. "The nurses run from their station and leave Michelle's room unattended, so Danny steals in and whisks [a medicated] Michelle back to the Santos mansion, just long enough to grab passports and pack a few things because he wants to take her to San Cristobel."

But their travel plans are interrupted when Carmen and Ben arrive at the house -- on their way to the bedroom. "Danny freaks out on Carmen having provoked Michelle [at the hospital]," says Stewart. After Michelle admits that it wasn't really Carmen's fault, "Danny and Micheel proceed to leave the mansion but are intercepted yet again by Rick and Abigail," he continues. "Michelle tells Rick that she wants nothing to do with him and that Danny is her life now." Unfortunately, Michelle feels ill from her medication, and the trip is temporarily postponed. The couple pledge their love for one another and Danny vows to take Michelle to San Cristobel as soon as she's better.

The next day, Danny surprises Michelle with a private ceremony for just the two of them at Laurel Falls, which is where Michelle has always dreamed of getting married. "Of course, Danny has remembered every detail of Michelle's fantasy and has it all set up," chuckles Stewart. "Cousin Ray remarries them and it's very romantic -- even down to the bouquet of daisies that Michelle had always dreamed of. Danny thought of it all."

Including a bed, which has been hauled in the middle of the woods. "It's the first time they've made love, so it has to be very special," he grins. Are the lovebirds interrupted? "We're not," promised Stewart. "Except for the small woodland creatures that gather around. From there, Danny and Michelle decide to take off for a honeymoon in San Cristobel, where they won't have a care in the world." Oh yeah? "Famous last words!"

"Island Getaway"

While Danny and Michelle are rolling around in the forest, Reva and Josh arrive in San Cristobel on July 1. The couple will be surprised by the reaction that the natives have to Reva -- particularly that of a certain hotel clerk who places a mysterious phone call to someone informing them of Reva's "return." Danny and Michelle show up the following week, and are surprised to run into Reva and Josh at a restaurant. Needless to say, Danny and Michelle get embroiled in the mystery and find themselves in danger, as well.
