The InDepth Preview: Suspecting that Michelle still has feelings for her old beau, Carmen offers Jesse a position and a room in the family home. When Danny and Michelle learn of the situation, she informs her mother-in-law that she won't have Jesse living in the same home as her.

After Michelle begs for him to intercede, Danny confronts his mother. Carmen tells her son that she has hired Jesse for Danny's own benefit. She easily could have exacted revenge on Michelle, Carmen insists, but Danny seems so attached to her. Instead, Carmen offers this challenge: Should Michelle remain loyal to Danny and not be tempted by Jesse, then the new Mrs. Santos will remain forever safe.

Meanwhile, Michelle begs Jesse to leave, but he refuses, vowing to protect her at all costs. Later, Jesse privately makes it clear to Danny that he has every intention of removing Michelle from the Santos home and her farce of a marriage.

Danny later informs Michelle that in order to stay safe, they must convince Jesse that their marriage is real. Tortured, Michelle understands that Jesse will have to find her and Danny in an intimate moment.

Unable to ignore his feelings for Michelle, Danny warns Jesse to stay away from his wife, or Danny will kill him. Meanwhile, Michelle meets with Drew to concoct a plan that will drive Jesse away from her forever. Will it work ... or is Jesse a dead man?
