I think Michelle will know about the Danny/Drew deed before this happens, and Danny will be Danny and not have amnesia, but Carmen will be pulling their strings from behind the scenes, and the progress they've made, will be stopped by her machinations. Maybe if Danny is faking amnesia, he might convince Michelle he needs to stay with his mother for a while, to monitor her, and they need to be apart (I don't think Carmen would kill Michelle, during Danny's fragile state, or she really wouldn't ever get him back, she has to be careful) which would mean there isn't a real "reunion" (they can be working together in private, but apart still), but there is a different level added to this relationship.

Summer is coming, it's time for the new stories to kick into gear, with fresh perspectives and the will they/won't they is not all that fresh. This story has moved like gangbusters already, I don't see why consummation would suddenly become this thing that was dragged out forever and a day.

And, I'm also leaning more towards Michelle's sudden reinterest in school, as being the foreshadowing meant by that Phillip/Harley scene, about Michelle possibly having to give up being a doctor, due to a baby (made possible by May consummation, delivery in February sweeps, how much more convenient would it be?) and this would be another curve ball thrown into Carmen's vendetta and Danny's plans, to exact revenge against his mother. It would be very hard for Michelle to go back to school (especially pre-med) and deal with a pregnancy, a constant threat to her, and Danny's lifestyle, period. And of course, this can be used to reunite Manny, completely at some point.
