But, after Danny offers her the "gift" in today's episode ... I think we will see Michelle come to the realization of just what this man is willing to give up for her ... which in turn will help her finally admit her feelings to Danny. What I see happening is that Danny will offer an annullment, Michelle will be shocked, upset and confused. She won't know why because she has been wanting her freedom for a long time ... to get back with Jesse, to get away from Carmen, and, I suspect, to end what she's really afraid of ... her love for Danny.

But, she will realize that she does not want this ... she will accept it at first because she thinks its what she wants. But, after she has time to think things through ... she will realize that Danny has given up his love for her ... or Michelle to be free, which is what he thinks she wants. And she will realize just how selfless he is ... that Danny would give Michelle her freedom because he loves her. And this will make Michelle want Danny even more.

What he does will be so meaningful to her that she will realize that her love is stronger than she imagined. I believe that this is the beginning of the road to them being truly together.

And ... Danny? Well, he will need reassurance from Michelle that what he offered is indeed what she wants. It is the only way he will be able to feel like what he did with Drew was justified. I don't think he will get that feeling of justification, though. In fact, once he sees Michelle's reaction, he will be more confused than ever because, he thinks he knows everything Michelle is feeling, what she wants and what she doesn't want ... which at the moment he thinks is him.

When Danny finally comes to terms with what Michelle has done, when he finally starts to think things through, that is when he will realize what Michelle gave up to tell him the truth. How much she must have trusted him to tell the truth and how much she wanted to protect him from the FBI. This is when we will see Danny in anguish ... because Michelle's actions will become clearer and he will understand her more. It is then that he will really feel like he has lost her, but it also then that Michelle will start to go after Danny, not because she feels she has to, but because she feels she wants to.

One night does make a difference ... it holds the key to Manny's future, it opens the door to their hearts, and it will help these two lost souls come together in what I suspect will be the most satisfying reunion on daytime. Don't give up hope, no matter what TPTB throw at us now, have faith our couple will make it, no matter what obstacles they face. They have both admitted their feelings ... granted one was more clear than the other ... but we all know both feel the same. Love will prevail ... and then we will see some of the best scenes with Manny that we could possibly hope for.
