Kicking off November sweeps, Guiding Light welcomes Paul Anthony Stewart (Danny) and Joie Lenz (Michelle) back to daytime.
If Lenz looks familiar, it's because she played teen Reva earlier this year. "Originally, the show thought about bringing me back as a long-lost daughter and having Josh freak out with the similarities," divulges the 17-year old. "When the role of Michelle became available, they called and asked if I was interested. I said 'yes.'"
Lenz jumps to the frontburner immediately, as Michelle is involved in Mick's death and its aftermath. "Michelle's really struggling right now with herself and her boyfriend. There's a lot of lying going on about Mick's death ... and she's a very honest person.
I'm looking forward to seeing how everything is going to unwind regarding Micks' death."
As part of the unraveling mystery, Mick's brother Danny, played by Paul Anthony Stewart, comes to town in November 11. According to Stewart, who was last seen as Casey Bowman on Loving in 1995, Danny is not a terrific guy. "He's not quite the thug his brother was. Danny's gone to college and he's a bit more refined, but he's there to avenge his brother's death. He's going to come on and intimidate Michelle and Drew."
The additions of Stewart and Lenz to the cast promise to keep the storylines at GL sizzling.
