Before Guiding Light's Danny and Michelle can live happily ever after, Carmen makes another desperate move this week to keep the young lovers apart - and to bring her estranged family back together.

Although Michelle is reluctant to reconcile after finding out -- via Carmen -- that Danny slept with Drew, she eventually changes her tune. "Danny says he's willing to give up everything for me," previews Joie Lenz in character as Michelle. "Of course, Michelle is about to say, 'Yes, we'll be together,' when the phone rings," adds Paul Anthony Stewart (Danny). There's been gunfire at the Santos home!

At the cover shoot, Stewart and Lenz decided to check out some of the web sites that "Manny" fans have dedicated to Michelle and Danny.

"I'm really amazed at the dedication of the viewers," said Stewart. "And I'm thrilled that they're responding so positively to the Danny and Michelle storyline. I'm also amazed at their computer wizardry. I wouldn't know how to turn my computer on..." He wouldn't? "Well, I'm not that bad," he laughs.

Lenz was equally impressed, adding that she "checks the message boards to see what the fans are saying."
