"Michelle doesn't love Danny. She thinks he's a good guy at heart and there is an underlying attraction there, but really, the reason she married him is because she wanted to save Jesse. That's the only reason.

"She looks at Drew as another human being -- and she doesn't neccessarily want to 'save' her, but she doesn't want to put her life at risk either. But really, the reason she married him was because she knew that he likes her, and being his wife gives her a little bit of an edge. That way, she and Jesse have more of a chance of staying alive. They were going to have to sacrifice their relationship anyway -- and if he was killed, it would really be over. There was really no other option.

Lenz thinks that in time, Michelle could actually
grow to have feelings for Danny.

"Right now, Danny sort of creeps her out, but who knows? Maybe over time she could learn to love Danny -- the writers haven't gotten to that point."
