Consciously Michelle admitted to both herself and Aunt Meta that she had strong feelings for Danny, that she could even love him. For the first time she expressed the desire to make their marriage work. When asked about Jesse she said she cared about him, she did not say she loved him. Big, big breakthrough there.

Then there was the dream. I think it accurately portrayed the confusion that Michelle is experiencing over Danny. The kiss was wonderful, it showed just how much chemistry Manny has. I think the TPTB purposely put the dream sequence in there because they wanted to remind viewers of the difference in the way Danny is with Michelle versus Drew. The looks he was giving her were classic Danny.

As for Michelle, she admitted she wanted him ("I want you, I want you so bad.") She also expressed the desire to make things right between them, to form a real relationship. Then Danny turned violent in the dream, he aimed the gun at Michelle. I think that shows the inner turmoil Michelle is feeling. She is falling hard for the man, very hard. She is attracted to him, she wants him. She has a desire to try and make a future with him, yet there is still something holding her back. Danny did hold a gun to her head, he did come close to killing her once. She thinks that he is different, she thinks that he won't hurt her.

However the key word is 'thinks,' she does not know for a fact that Danny is not dangerous. Deep down she is still not utterly convinced that she is safe around him. She took a big risk in trusting him enough to confess, that shows how far she has come. Yet when she answered the door (in real time) there was definitely some fear in her eyes. Fear mixed with hope, anxiety, love, and questioning.

As for Danny, I have not one idea what he was thinking, only that it was one intense look he gave his wife. It will be interesting to see how cold or passionate their conversation tomorrow will be. I can't decide if I want him to yell and scream, or be cold and distant. I think I'd prefer he yell, either way it will be fascinating to watch.

One additional interesting comment, wasn't it telling the way Danny couldn't kiss Drew good bye, he could only tap her on the head.
