If you really watch (after getting over the initial feelings of being cheated), you still see many of the little things that endear you to this couple--the incredibly sexy laugh of Danny after the lightening remark, his taking her ear in his mouth. Michelle saying "yes, right there" (during the back kisses), and Michelle practically begging him to take her there (and yes, I think that line was intended for the sexual inuendo). These scenes did give me the feeling of making love vs. just having sex.

While I do think that one did have a feeling of making love vs. just sex on Monday's show, TPTB still could have achieved this purpose and included more the passion we have witnessed from Manny before. I have been trusting Guiding Light that they would do the right thing with this couple and am hoping that there is some wise plan for writing and staging the consummation the way they did. I have to believe they do know what they have in this couple and will ultimately give us, the fans, what we desire: to see the desire and passion between Danny and Michelle. Maybe if we can get past feeling cheated, we can see that the problem was not so much what we did see, but instead what we did not see.
